Blind Behind the Wheel….Rev up those engines!

Here’s a chance for blind and visually impaired Albertans to do what most people do every day….drive a car. And not just any car but an actual race car!

Blind Behind the Wheel is an annual fundraiser in Alberta, pairing drivers who can’t see with sighted co-pilots. It’s fast and exciting for the spectators as well as for the competitors.

This year’s race takes place on Saturday, September 11th at the Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin. Gates open at 4 p.m. with racing beginning at 7 p.m.

There will be one driving category for those who have limited vision and another for those who have no vision.
