British Columbia Guide Dog Services is a registered charity. Alberta Guide Dog Services is a division of British Columbia Guide Dog Services. With the support of volunteers and stakeholders, we strive to meet the demand for professionally-trained guide dogs for visually-impaired citizens of British Columbia and Alberta, while providing the highest level of service and support to the organization’s clients.

The Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers are totally dedicated to the further development of the Guide Dog Movement in British Columbia and Alberta. The organization holds the aims and objectives of providing — at no cost to our clients — professionally-trained guide dogs for blind and visually-impaired residents of British Columbia and Alberta. We continue to work hard at improving the availability of service, including breeding, raising and training more dogs as well as serving more client-dog teams with life-long aftercare and support, so that we can serve an increasing number of people throughout BC and Alberta.

We thank Nestle Purina Petcare for generously donating food for all of our puppies and dogs-in-training!
