Organize a Fundraising Event

Help us provide Guide Dogs to blind or visually-impaired individuals in the community by hosting a fundraising event. Whether it is a staff barbecue, a school bake sale, or a dinner with friends, your event will help us raise valuable donations and awareness!
We greatly appreciate your efforts and will happily support you to the best of our ability. Please contact us in advance, and we can provide promotional materials and even a customized poster (click here for sample)!
Here are some fundraising event ideas:
- Staff barbecue/lunch (food by donation)
- Bake sale (with dog-shaped cookies!)
- Birthday party with donations to BC or Alberta Guide Dogs in lieu of gifts
- Garage sale
- Dinner party for close friends with donations in lieu of hostess/host gifts
